The ABA Legal Opportunity Scholarhip Fund is designed to encourage racial and ethnic minority students to apply to law school and to provide financial assistance to the scholarship recipients.
The Fund will award $5,000 of assistance to each recipient who attends an ABA-accredited law school. An award made to an entering first-year student may be renewable for two additional years. This means that a student could receive financial assistance totalling $15,000 over the course of her or her law school career.
The application can be downloaded from the ABA Website. The deadline for submission is March 2, so don't delay! Time is running out!
